What is WATstop used for?
It's a liquid waterproofing membrane for wet areas like showers, bathrooms, basements, and balconies. It creates a seamless, 100% waterproof barrier — no sheet membranes needed.

Can it be applied over tile?
Yes — WATstop bonds well to secure, clean tile. Lightly sand the surface, clean well, and apply two coats. if adhesion is a concern use Grip Primer after cleaning surface.

Do I need joint tape in corners?
Use Safety Joint Tape in corners and seams to reinforce high-movement areas or areas with standing water and prevent cracking.

How many coats should I apply?
Two coats — with 24 hours between coats.

Can I use it on floors?
Yes — WATstop is suitable for floors in bathrooms, basements, and wet areas.

Is it safe for indoor use?
Yes — WATstop is solvent-free and low-VOC, making it safe for homes and occupied spaces.

Can I tile over it?
Yes — once fully cured, you can apply Plaster paint or tile, or use other finishes.
