Its low molecular weight lets it soak in deep rather than film over, so the wall keeps its colour and breathability while cold-water absorption drops from 18.7% to 4.9%. That reduction protects against algae growth, salt deposits and freeze spalling. Applied in two to three coats wet-on-wet; weathering tested to 1680 hours, indicatively ten years.
