Rapid Film-Forming Waterproofing liquid
This water-based, solvent-free liquid waterproofing product is formulated with elastomeric resin to offer rapid film formation and impressive long-term performance. Resisting washout just 20 minutes after application, it provides robust waterproof protection while maintaining elasticity and resisting aging even in low temperatures. It is ideally suited for a variety of applications, including patios, balconies, sheds (both flat and sloping), as well as chimneys, eaves, flashings, cornices, foundation walls, and vertical walls. This versatile product also effectively waterproofs a wide range of cement-based surfaces.

Yes — Acriflex Rapido meets safety standards for encapsulating cement asbestos when used with Acriflex Primer, providing a durable, compliant solution.
How fast does it dry?
It forms a waterproof film in just 20 minutes — resistant to washout even in heavy rain.
Do I need a primer?
It depends on the substrate.
Use SBS-Bond when:
• Waterproofing smooth bituminous or slated membranes
Use Grip Primer when:
• Applying over metal surfaces or existing floors
Use Acriflex Primer when:
• Encapsulating asbestos-cement surfaces (Type A, B, or C)
No primer is needed when:
• Applying to concrete, cement board, masonry, fibrocement slabs, or sound tile
• Coating untreated, dry, and stable wooden surfaces
How is it applied?
By brush, roller, squeegee, or spray gun. Two coats recommended.
Can it be used in cold weather?
Yes — it remains flexible down to at least -25°C, making it ideal for Canadian winters.
Is it UV-resistant?
Yes — it withstands prolonged UV exposure without degradation.
