Lisbon Cruise Terminal Soundproofing and Insulation

Lisbon Cruise Terminal Soundproofing and Insulation

Project Showcase: Lisbon Cruise Terminal

The Lisbon Cruise Terminal is a landmark project along the Rio Tejo, strategically located between the Vasco da Gama and 25 de Abril bridges, where it offers a stunning entryway to the city without obstructing Lisbon’s historic architecture. Designed by renowned Portuguese architect João Luís Carrilho da Graça, this project serves as a modern gateway for visitors arriving from the sea and seamlessly integrates with Lisbon's skyline.

Diasen’s products were chosen for their ability to meet high standards for acoustic and thermal insulation across the facility. The Diathonite Acoustix+ soundproofing mortar was used extensively to reduce reverberation in passenger areas, commercial zones, and control rooms, while Diathonite Evolution provided durable thermal insulation in underground garages and moisture protection for river-facing walls.
