Grip Primer

• Pull-off adhesion 4.17 MPa on tile
• 1.66 MPa on concrete, 1.50 MPa on metal

What is Grip Primer used for?
It's a water-based adhesion promoter designed to ensure strong bonding between Eco-Tech coatings (like Decorkrete, Diathonite, or WATstop) and challenging substrates such as tile, metal, glass, or painted surfaces.

Can it be used on tile?
Yes — Grip Primer is ideal for preparing tile surfaces before applying Decorkrete or waterproofing membranes.

Do I need it for every application?
It depends on the substrate. Use Grip Primer on smooth, non-absorbent surfaces (e.g., tile, metal, painted walls). Not required on porous or absorbent substrates like bare concrete or brick.

How is it applied?
By brush, roller, or spray gun. One coat is typically sufficient.

Is it breathable?
Yes — Grip Primer is vapor-permeable, making it suitable for use in moisture-sensitive environments.

Can I use it outdoors?
Yes — it’s suitable for both interior and exterior applications.

Is it safe for indoor use?
