Shipping policy
At Eco-Tech Building Solutions, we believe the journey matters as much as the destination. We work with trusted third-party carriers to ensure your sustainable building materials arrive safely, on time, and ready to help you create spaces designed for the soul.
1. Where We Ship
We currently ship within Canada only.
If you're outside Canada and interested in our products, please contact us to discuss possible options.
2. Processing Times
• In-stock items ship within 5 business days
• Special orders or out-of-stock items ship within 4–6 weeks
Need it faster? Air freight is available at an additional cost. Contact us for a quote.
3. Delivery Methods
We use a range of commercial carriers depending on the size and destination of your order. We reserve the right to select the most efficient shipping method for each shipment.
• Smaller orders are shipped via courier
• Large, heavy, or palletized orders are shipped by freight
We do not offer in-house or direct local delivery; all orders are fulfilled by third-party logistics providers.
4. Free Shipping Across Canada
Free shipping is available on all orders over $500. There is no separate shipping charge at checkout for qualifying orders.
Free shipping includes standard ground delivery to addresses within carrier service zones across Canada, including residential addresses. All deliveries include tailgate (liftgate) service—the driver will lower your freight to ground level. No loading dock or forklift required.
For orders under $500, shipping rates are calculated at checkout based on weight and destination.
For remote or rural locations outside standard carrier routes, orders will be shipped to the nearest depot for customer pickup at no additional charge. Direct delivery to remote areas may be available for an additional fee—contact us for a quote.
5. Freight & Large Deliveries
Orders requiring freight service (such as palletized materials) will be shipped using the most efficient method available.
• LTL deliveries include tailgate service
• Inside delivery is not available
• The delivery site must be accessible to trucks
Please note: Each unit weighs approximately 25-50 lbs. If you're unable to move units from curbside, please arrange for help on the receiving end before placing your order.
6. Estimated Shipping Times
Once shipped, orders typically arrive within 3–7 business days, depending on your location and shipping method.
We do our best to process and ship all orders as quickly as possible, but Eco-Tech cannot guarantee delivery by a specific date. We are not liable for delays caused by:
• Weather
• Carrier performance
• Labour disruptions
• Accidents or mechanical issues
• Supply chain disruptions
• Acts of God or other events beyond our control
7. Shipping Terms & Risk of Loss
Risk of loss or damage passes to the buyer once the product is handed off to the courier or freight company.
Eco-Tech is not responsible for lost or damaged items during transit. However, we will work with you and the carrier to support any claims if damage or loss occurs.
8. Damaged or Missing Items
IMPORTANT: Inspect for damage before accepting the shipment.
In rare cases, items can get damaged in shipping. If you accept a shipment with damaged goods without noting it on the Bill of Lading prior to your signature, you have accepted the shipment in good condition and may have trouble getting a credit or replacement.
It's important that you note any damage or dented/torn packaging prior to signing for a delivery. If you see potential damage to your shipment, take a picture and note it on the Bill of Lading. When damage is noted, the liability is placed on the carrier and we can help you with a freight claim. Without noting damage, it is unlikely a claim can be made.
Please inspect all shipments upon arrival.
If your order arrives damaged, with items missing, or if you received the wrong product, notify us within 48 hours of delivery. Include your tracking number, a description of the issue, and photos of the packaging or product damage.

9. Customer Cost Responsibilities
While shipping is included in our product prices, the following services and fees are the customer's responsibility:
• Remote or rural delivery surcharges — if direct delivery to a remote location is requested and available
• Storage fees — if shipments are not picked up or accepted within the carrier's holding period ( Usually 48 hours)
• Re-delivery charges — if delivery fails due to incorrect address, site inaccessibility, or missed delivery attempts
• Address correction fees — if shipping details require changes after dispatch
• Expedited shipping upgrades — air freight or rush delivery is available at additional cost
These charges will be quoted before order confirmation when known. To avoid unexpected fees, please let us know about any delivery constraints or pickup limitations before your order ships. If fees are incurred due to issues not communicated in advance—such as missed depot pickups or site access problems—the customer is responsible for all resulting charges and will be invoiced accordingly.
10. Failed Deliveries, Re-Delivery & Return to Depot
If a shipment cannot be delivered due to:
• Inaccurate address
• Site inaccessibility
• Absence of a recipient (when signature is required)
• No depot pickup within carrier's holding period
...it may be returned to sender or incur storage and re-delivery charges. These charges are the responsibility of the customer.
11. Cancellations & Changes
• Orders cannot be cancelled or modified once shipped
• If you need to change your shipping address, please contact us immediately after placing your order
We cannot reroute shipments once they have been dispatched.
